# Who is eligible for RE-UP Grants Powered by Google?

## Income, Location, and Equipment Requirements

### Who is eligible?

You may qualify if you meet all three of these requirements.

1. **You live in the service area.** Your home is in Fernley, Henderson, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Reno, Silver Springs, or Sparks, or in certain unincorporated areas of Clark, Storey, or Washoe County.
2. **Your household income is under the limit.** Income must be at or below 120% of Area Median Income (AMI) or 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), whichever is higher for your household size and county.
3. **Your equipment qualifies.** The program targets heating and cooling systems typically more than 15 years old and water heaters typically more than 10 years old. Your contractor confirms equipment eligibility during the home visit, using the data plate on each unit.

### Service Area

This program is administered by the Nevada Clean Energy Fund and made possible by funding from Google's Energy Impact Program, which is designed to improve energy affordability and strengthen local power grids in communities near Google's data centers. These solutions are part of Google's dedicated fund for Northern and Southern Nevada residents. Eligible areas are:

- - **Clark County:** Henderson, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and parts of unincorporated Clark County
    - **Washoe County:** Reno, Sparks, and parts of unincorporated Washoe County
    - **Storey County:** unincorporated Storey County, including Lockwood and Virginia City
    - **Lyon County:** Fernley and parts of unincorporated Lyon County, including Silver Springs
